Marine Engineering Programme

The marine technology education is a vocational training program for those who want to work as, for example, boat builders or marine technicians. The program is nationally recruiting, meaning that students from all over the country can apply under the same conditions. What You'll Learn

  • You will learn, among other things, how various vessels used as recreational boats and smaller commercial ships operate. You will also learn how engines, systems, and equipment are constructed and how to repair the vessels and equipment. Additionally, you’ll learn how to choose the right method and technique to service the vessels.

  • The program also emphasizes the ability to communicate and work both independently and in groups.

  • Parts of the education take place at one or more workplaces for at least 15 weeks (Internship/APL).

Further Studies?

Do you want to continue to college and university after the program? This education gives you the opportunity to acquire basic university eligibility and some specific qualifications. After the program, you also have the option to study at vocational colleges and folk high schools.
