Health and Social Care Programme
This program is for those who want to work in healthcare, psychiatry, elderly care, and with people who have disabilities. You can start working right after the education or continue studying. Basic eligibility is included in the program to allow further studies at the university level.
What You Will Learn
- The program has no specializations but allows you to specialize.
- The education provides opportunities for jobs in, for instance, the disability field, healthcare, psychiatry, elderly care, and with people who have disabilities.
- You will learn about health, illness, disability, medicine, pedagogy, and psychology.
- You will learn about people’s different needs and understand the impact of lifestyle on health.
- You will learn to interact with people in a professional manner.
- Parts of the education take place at one or more workplaces for at least 15 weeks (Internship/APL).
