Glass Working Programme

The glass working programme is a vocational training programme for those who want to work artisanally with the production of various glass products and art glass. The program recruits students nationally, meaning students from all over the country can apply on the same terms. This is what you learn

  • You will learn crafts such as glassblowing, engraving, casting, and other methods for creating various glass craft products. You will also develop your ability to work from idea to finished product and how to present it to customers. You will learn the theory behind how your choices of different methods, raw materials, and additives affect the result. You will also learn to work safely and sustainably as well as how to communicate and collaborate.
  • Parts of the education take place at one or more workplaces for at least 15 weeks (Internship/APL).

Do you want to continue at university and college after the program? This education gives you the opportunity to gain basic university eligibility and also certain specific qualifications. After the program, you also have the opportunity to attend vocational college and folk high school education.
