The maritime training education is a vocational program for those who want to work as officers in the deck or engine department aboard commercial ships. This is What You'll Learn

You’ll learn about ship operation and maintenance, various ship types, and cargo handling. You’ll also learn what it’s like to work as watch personnel onboard. You’ll be trained in safety and environmental protection work on ships. The program also gives an understanding of what it’s like to work as a seafarer, often on long journeys far from home, living closely with your colleagues.

- Parts of the training take place at one or more workplaces for at least 15 weeks (Internship/APL).

Further Studies?
Do you want to study further at a university or college after the program? This training gives you the opportunity to gain general university eligibility and certain specific qualifications. After the program, you also have the option to study at vocational colleges and folk high schools.
